My snowflakes

Who doesn’t like snowflakes?   Here’s a cool new twist on an old passtime – cutting paper snowflakes.   My sister, Kristin, introduced me to “Make-A-Flake“  – no paper or scissors needed.    I made all the flakes in my post (copying them into Photoshop to edit).  Aren’t they pretty??

I made this snowflake!Click here to make a flake and then post it for us to see!   After you cut your flake, select “Save my flake” – and enter your name/submit.  Then, in the next window, choose “Download my flake.”    Choose “view image” – a new browser window will open that shows your newly created flake.  Copy and URL and paste it in a message to us.  It will look something like this:

Can’t wait to see your flakes!

Michelle – do you remember when we cut out hundreds of paper snowflakes and then suspended them from string in the stake center for Jeri’s young adult New Years eve dance??? I remember that it looked so cool……

Ooooh, pretty…. this activity has become a bit addicting. I’m sure I’ve made over 100 flakes the past several days…………

How fun! And addicting…

Mine looks like it has evil goblin faces on the outer part of it… rather scary.

When I was in high school, I was teachers aid for Mr. Ludlow. Over a couple of days when I didn’t have much to do, I cut out hundreds of snowflakes and hid them… when they were all done, I plastered his desk with them. They were stuck to everything, plus suspended from the ceiling over his chair and desk…. he couldn’t even see the desk :) He was both ridiculed and the envy of the other teachers in his area : )
