I love spring rain. Or summer rain.

Basically, I just love rain.

I love the way it sounds, the way it smells and the way it makes the colors in my flowers come alive.

It does make everything so much more green, lush and beautiful. It’s rained a lot here, this spring and it has made me happy. And my flowers happy. And you can see them next week!

in our neck of the woods, it’s really dry in the summer, and really wet in the winter. This means mudslides, wind, and lots of power outages. I hate rain. Craig loves it, but I go to bed wondering if I’m going to have a redwood tree in my forhead in the morning. We had a mudslide right above us three years ago that brought a tree down dangling over our house, held up by power lines. We ran from Utah in part to escape from the snow. Winters here are alot more dangerous.

That is why I want to move to Washington so bad! I love the rain too. Hopefully we will be visiting soon. We had a vacation planned for this summer, but we had to cancel it because I used up all of my vacation time when my mom died. It will be the next vacation we take, for sure!!
