Ditto what Michelle said. Just gorgeous!! I need to go back to LaCaille at Christmas, obviously.

Lovely! Margie has such a great view! Oh, Michelle just said that. Well, it is fabulous. It has been a long time since I’ve been by LaCaille. Our town doesn’t seem to be really big on holiday decorating. Last year we were the only house in our circle to put up lights. This year our next door neighbor beat us to it, but only by a day or two. And we both have lights only along the roof lines. I miss the magic of Christmas lights.

Yes, I love the view from her house. Actually, I love everything about her house. :) And those pictures are beautiful. I, too, love the moon and Saturn. It adds a nice touch. And those swans look so pretty on the water… the lights reflect so beautifully, too. Great pictures.

What is La Caille? I’ve never heard of it….

La Caille at Quail Run is a very pricey French restaurant at the base of little cottonwood canyon. Exceptionally beautiful grounds. I’ve only eaten there a couple of times…. but I attended Chris and Mike’s wedding. It’s my favorite La Caille memory - when Chris tossed the bouquet and it hit me right in the forehead. Her brother, Brad, turned to me and said “You wouldn’t know a bouquet if it hit you in the head….”

We’re sitting in our home listening to lovely Christmas music courtesy of Josh Grobin…”I’ll be home for Christmas…” and even though SLC was a lifetime ago it’s lovely to look at these photos and remember Chistmas past…thanks Allison for giving us all such a great outlet for thinking about whatever…whenever….
