{"id":113,"date":"2008-01-04T03:23:46","date_gmt":"2008-01-04T10:23:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/silenceoftheclams.com\/blog\/archives\/113"},"modified":"2008-01-04T03:23:46","modified_gmt":"2008-01-04T10:23:46","slug":"hope-prevails-at-least-for-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/silenceoftheclams.com\/blog\/2008\/01\/hope-prevails-at-least-for-today\/","title":{"rendered":"Hope prevails&#8230;. at least for today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was so thrilled with the results of the Iowa causes tonight.\u00c2\u00a0 Turn out was record breaking, and as many of the caucus goers were under 30 as over 65 &#8211; a big change from the past&#8230;\u00c2\u00a0and over 50% of those younger voters caucused for Obama.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0Many independents and\u00c2\u00a0more\u00c2\u00a0than a few Republicans also chose to be counted among his supporters in Iowa&#8230;.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0VERY exciting, don&#8217;t you think???!<\/p>\n<p>Listening to Obama&#8217;s victory speech, I was so moved.
