{"id":1542,"date":"2010-07-27T18:21:26","date_gmt":"2010-07-28T01:21:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/silenceoftheclams.com\/blog\/?p=1542"},"modified":"2010-07-28T00:08:19","modified_gmt":"2010-07-28T07:08:19","slug":"37-bamboo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/silenceoftheclams.com\/blog\/2010\/07\/37-bamboo\/","title":{"rendered":"#37 Bamboo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you know me well, or frequent my blog, you are aware that there are literally dozens, if not hundreds, of reasons why <em class=\"b\">I love living in the northwest<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Today I share with you reason #37<em> (which is a completely arbitrary number)<\/em>:<\/p>\n<h3>Bamboo<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"floatleft\" title=\"Bamboo is so zen\" src=\"http:\/\/silenceoftheclams.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/bboo2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"135\" \/><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both\"><\/div>\n<p>I love bamboo, and love that that it grows so well here.<\/p>\n<p>Over the weekend I discovered <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bamboogardenswa.com\/\" target=\"resource_window\">Bamboo Gardens<\/a> in Redmond &#8211; a nursery which not only sells bamboo, but has lush, beautiful groves of several varieties planted on their property.<\/p>\n<p>I spent over an hour wandering about with my camera, feeling very &#8216;zen.&#8217;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"floatleft\" title=\"I love bamboo\" src=\"http:\/\/silenceoftheclams.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/bboo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"525\" height=\"722\" \/><\/p>\n<div style=\"clear:both\"><\/div>\n<p>I wish I had somewhere I could plant my own bamboo forest&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you know me well, or frequent my blog, you are aware that there are literally dozens, if not hundreds, of reasons why I love living in the northwest.
