He just donated $100,000<\/em> to help fight the discriminatory ban against gay marriage in California, saying…<\/p>\n

\u00c2\u00a0“Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn’t harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8”

Speaking of which – I’m so delighted that my favorite former brother-in-law and his long time partner just tied the knot last week in northern California.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 When he wrote to tell me the happy news, he said “It actually turned out to be a bigger deal than I thought it would.\u00c2\u00a0 We’ve felt so married for so long we really didn’t think it would be that big of deal. It was.”\u00c2\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Everyone should get the chance to be this happy – with all the legal protections that come with marriage.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n
