That sweet baby daffodil just keeps blooming.<\/p>\n<p>And after discovering my first little crocus bud munched into oblivion before it could bloom, I&#8217;ve regularly followed shiny little slime trails to pots and rocks, searching for\u00c2\u00a0and dispoing of the <em class=\"b\">evil slugs <\/em>that lurk beneath&#8230; just waiting to feast on my garden.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/silenceoftheclams.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/babyiris.jpg\" alt=\"Baby Iris\" class=\"floatright\" \/><br \/>And then today&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>I opened my blinds today and looked out into my garden and saw this!<\/p>\n<p>The <em class=\"b\">cute little iris <\/em>that I&#8217;d planted early last spring <em>(just before it bloomed)<\/em> had survived the winter and has burst forth into glorious color on my patio.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em class=\"b\">Daffodils and tulips <\/em>from last year are several inches out of the ground and developing buds.\u00c2\u00a0 YEAH!\u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"237\" src=\"http:\/\/silenceoftheclams.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/croc.jpg\" alt=\"Crocus and primrose\" height=\"237\" class=\"floatleft\" \/>And&#8230; \u00c2\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>My slug hunting has paid off, because the <em class=\"b\">crocus and and primrose<\/em> are also in bloom.<\/p>\n<p><em class=\"b\">I love flowers<\/em>.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 Anything new in your garden?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A few weeks ago I stopped at Molbaks and picked up some primrose and daffodils to grace my patio as I am waiting for the bulbs and flowers from last year to bloom again.
