I’ve decided to hop on the happy train, started by Chris on her blog, and continued by Michelle.
So for the next 8 days, you get a peek into what’s making me happy each day. Lucky you.
Today – I’m so happy to be on Phase 3 of my diet and can eat lots of food again. I was getting so VERY bored with chicken, lettuce, celery and onion….   Today for lunch, chicken salad with almonds.  For dinner – a taco salad (sans chips, but topped with lots of sour cream) followed by a chocolate torte with real whipped cream. Yum.
My other happiness for the day is this artistic offering Miss Kennedy drew of the two of us, and her mom mailed to me (along with a few others) . This was my favorite. I’m in the striped dress, Kennedy is in the circles.Â
So, what made you happy today?
Probably the fact that we are waking up in a fantastic suite in Monterey. The hotel overbooked the rooms so we were forced to take the upgrade to the 2 room 2 bath suite with the ocean crashing below our balcony all evening. We decided to treat ourselves to a weekend for just us. We’re headed to the aquarium today and shops on Cannery row later.

Yay for phase 3!! And I like that drawing as well. You both look so happy 🙂
What makes me happy? I get to go dress shopping with Ashlee today!! AND Kennedy gets to play with her cousins (Emily & Marie) and that always makes her happy, so it makes me happy. 🙂
AND I’m not having a bad hair day like I did yesterday. Lots of happiness, here.
I’m very happy Kennedy gets to come play today. 🙂 Marie asks me every day about when she can play with Kennedy again. I’m also very happy I get a date with Brandon tonight to see Little Women at Kingsbury Hall performed by the U of U Lyric Opera Ensemble and featuring the Utah Philharmonia!!!

Craig, your suite sounds spectacular! There is nothing more relaxing that falling to sleep to the sound of the ocean….. have fun!
