Would you be caught dead in this?I just experienced an amazing flashback to the late 70s, thanks to blogger Johnny Virgil

Actually, this was sent to me in an email with no credits, but after a little googling I was able to track down the original source – and he deserves some credit for this LOL masterpiece.

Join me on a magic carpet ride as we take a walk down memory lane or, if you’re too young to remember, take a peek into my high school years as told through a 1977 JC Penneys Catalog, with color commentary.

Click here and then tell me if this isn’t the funniest thing you’ve read in a year.

That was, indeed, the hardest I’ve laughed out loud all by myself in a damn long time. And you posed my favorite pic!!! There really are no words to describe those horrifying outfits. Thank you again for this.

Wow. It’s amazing to me what people used to wear. Actually, it’s amazing to me what people wear, now! That is so hilarious. Thanks for posting this.

I will be ordering the multi-color man’s night shirt for Tim, he will be thrilled.

I loved this entire thing.

I wore several jumpsuits through Jr. & high school. And I loved them.

In our ward a member of the Bishopric had several leisure suits…stretchy polyester things… One was a pumpkin orange, another Turqoise blue…They were hysterical even back then…

When I look at pictures of my own clothes, Dougs and the kids…not to mention the hair do’s I really have to LOL…
