He’s hot.Â
He’s sexy.Â
He’s entertaining on the big screen.Â
Loving dad.Â
Generous humanitarian.
And now, another great reason to absolutely love Brad Pitt…
He just donated $100,000 to help fight the discriminatory ban against gay marriage in California, saying…
“Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn’t harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8”
I love you, Brad.
Speaking of which – I’m so delighted that my favorite former brother-in-law and his long time partner just tied the knot last week in northern California.  When he wrote to tell me the happy news, he said “It actually turned out to be a bigger deal than I thought it would. We’ve felt so married for so long we really didn’t think it would be that big of deal. It was.”Â
Everyone should get the chance to be this happy – with all the legal protections that come with marriage. Â
Congratulations Paul and Craig! I’m SO HAPPY for you!

*sigh*… all the more reason to be madly in love with Brad Pitt. He’s super sexy.
Congrats Paul and Craig!!
I couldn’t agree with you more! I love Brad Pitt, and I think it is great that he is supporting this 🙂

That’s positive news Craig – thanks!
Oh, Paul! I am so happy for you!!! This is wonderful, and so great to have the kids there for the happy event. Congratulations to both of you.
Paul congrats! I think I met you once (?)
Brad Pitt is amazing, if only everyone could think as openly.
Personally I prefer Paul Pearce to Brad Pritt!!!
Congrats Paul and Craig! I love you both!!! 🙂
Congratulations Paul and Craig! You deserve every happiness together. Brad Pitt you rock!
I agree with Amy. That’s why I married him! So lovely to read all your heartfelt supportive comments. This blog thing just might catch on. Keep it up>
It was a beautiful ceremony and I am so happy and honored that I was able to be there. This blog thing is cool! Thanks for passing it along. (It is so weird how tall I look in that picture!!)
OK, seriously, how cute are the Papa’s?!!!!
Seriously, they are VERY cute. And you and Chris make a darling couple – and have adorable kids. I wish Vivie were in this picture too!
Craig, I think I’m going to take you and Paul up on your offer for a visit this sometime this next year. It’s been far too long since we’ve spent time together.
Please drop by and post on my blog anytime – keep in touch! (you too, Andrea)
I’ve always respected and admired Brad Pitt…. I am so hoping this horrible amendment fails. It would be a devastating setback if it prevails. My fear is that the polls were similar in Colorado a few years ago when they voted on civil unions, and still we lost. They found that people voted in private differently than they answered to another person. The prejudice is still so strong.
If marriage equality prevails in California, it will send a shock wave through the rest of the county.
Congratulations to the couple.
maybe this time!!! Think good thoughts about Justice Kennedy!
