Entry wayInspired by Chris and Michelle, I decided to add a few Halloween decorations to my few autumn decorations this year….   my place is small, so I’m limited in what I can do.   And I take a bit of a minimalist approach…

Here is my entry table. The picture is one I took along Wasatch Boulevard in Salt Lake a few years ago.

My mantle is adorned with a cool leaf garland I picked up at Molbak’s end of season sale last year…. at 80% off.  I love finding cool stuff on sale.

And aren’t my new frames over on the left (Pier 1) a perfect compliment to my yoga frog?   I know he isn’t very halloween like, but I love him. Halloween mantle

And I really love that little carved wooden owl – my parents gave that to me years ago, a gift brought home from travel abroad – I forget where. But all the markings are actually rings in the tree’s wood.

New additions are my glittery “Boo” and the funky tree, which I picked up at Pier 1 Imports.   Michelle, I liked the mummy cat so much I went back and bought one for myself too : ) And there is room on my tree to add a couple of new things next year.

Boo!

I also have some cool, tiny orange twinkle lights on a shelf on my media armoir.  Now if I could just get the energy to hang up my orange twinkle lights on my patio, I’d be set….

It looks so gorgeous, Allison!! You and Michelle actually decorate artistically, I just throw it on the table and hope for the best. I L-O-V-E your tree. And the leaf garland is so pretty. I’ve always wanted to have a tree that is neutral-looking that I decorate for every holiday/season. Alas, I have had 12 years of little hands getting into things, so I have hesitated. Your entry way table and the glittery leafs are just beautiful–it’s a tribute to fall and it’s perfect. Nice job, Allison.

Beautiful honey!! You have such great taste. I want one of those trees, in fact I must have one. Your garland is very pretty and I love how you did a simple, elegant entryway table. Fall is wonderful.

Today I put a fall garland with white twinkle lights around my front door, I also hung up several ghosts under my front orange tree. I think I’m finally done!

Aw, mom- you are amazing. You have such an eye for art. I love the decorations. The tree is fantastic. And I love that you have a purple AND white mummy cat.

At first glance I thought your black Boo said “Poo.” I’m sure glad it says “Boo.”

beautiful, you have such great taste and talent. You could have been an interior decorator and got paid mega bucks for doing something you love to do. Think how fun that would be doing it with someone else’s $$$

I love your decorating! Now come do my house? We actually did a little bit of Halloween decor shopping the other night. Amazing for us, since we rarely buy Holiday decorations. Mostly we just use what others donate to us. 🙂

So cute! Where did you get the sparkly “Boo”? LOVE the tree.

Boo came from Fred Meyer…. The tree actually has a bit of sublt sparkle to it as well. Did you notice my sparkly “The Witch Is In” sign hanging under the sparkly-leafed garland? I guess I like sparkly… what a surprise.

You are so very talented in everyway.
