While in Hawaii, Ashley informed me that she and Brandon were going in together on a birthday gift for me, and we proceeded to look through various shops and fairs for local artisans to locate the perfect item. I found a couple of things that I quite liked, but they weren’t perfect… or were way out of budget :) Â
So I asked if it would be ok if I waited til I got home to find a gift from my favorite local artists store – Musings Artist Inspired.  Local artist Celeste Stuhring has created dichroic glass watches that catch my eye every time I visit.  Here is what I selected:Â
 
Isn’t it beautiful!? I haven’t worn a watch for years – not since I started carrying a cell phone – but I’m very excited about wearing this piece of art every day.

Oh My….I don’t usually go on or comment on stuff like this but I absolutely love that piece. Might have to head north to see what other pieces are available from you artist.
Beautiful Allison! Craig, When I visited Allison last year she took me to this gallery. It was a wonderland of amazing art. I particularly liked their stained and glass leaded pieces. You and Paul should take a trip up north. I loved my time there. Of course Allison is a wonderful and attentive hostess.

It’s fused dichroic glass… the colors change with the light, very irridescent and oceany looking.
The northwest is art-glass central – one of my favorite things here!
