It’s been a long day – up before 6am (make that 5am when you figure in the daylight savings time difference), and nearly 7 hours on airplanes – an hour at Walmart and Kmart picking up necessities (including swimwear) but here we are, on the beautiful island of Kauai.Â
As we flew over Oahu, the water was brilliant blues and aquas. Â
From Princeville, and especially Hanaeli, we can see over a dozen waterfalls cascading down the mountain ridges.  There area always 2 – 3 visible, but when it rains (as it has been) more appear.  This one is the largest.
Our condo is lovely, and the bed is calling….   more tomorrow!
Very jealous. Haven’t been to Hawaii since 1980. When I go I’ll make sure I plan it with Kristin’s advise. I know she is an expert on travel to Hawaii..

*sigh*… It’s been so fabulous, and we’ve only been here for less than 24 hours. I love the moisture and the flowers and the serenity. It’s all just so spectacular. 🙂
