While at the Hallmark store the other day, I came across a card that made me burst out laughing.

Even though I have no one to send it to, I just had to buy it – and I share it with you now.   I hope at least some of you find it amusing.

Your engagement

Congratulations.

That Paco…he kills me.

Hilarious! I can’t believe you found that at Hallmark….

This cracked me up!

Who comes up with this stuff 🙂 I think we should all get together and form a greeting card company. We could come up with great stuff.

Things like that christmas card we found years ago…

“I don’t believe in hanging mistletoe”

.
.
.
.
“But it must be punished!”

Kristin, I still remember the moment we found that card in a long-defunct Hallmark store at the long gone Cottonwood Mall. When we opened the card to read the inside, it was just so unexpected. We were laughing so hard I had tears rolling, and other customers were staring.

Over the years, I’ve learned that if I find a particularly wonderful card, I buy several copies because I always want it at a later date.

Another of my favorites was:

The birthday boy enters the room and the crowd cheers

Euthanasia!
Euthanasia!
Euthanasia!

(Of course, one must know what euthanasia is to get the humor : )

LOLOL Paco, I adore your whole entire being, including the getup.

Thanks for sharing. I love that you bought a card just to show it to us. 😀

I have seen this card before, and everytime I see it I pick it up and read it and laugh very loudly to myself and then put it back. I should have sent it to you….

LOL! that is too funny!! Paco is mine! we share many sunrises! I will go anywhere with Paco, even to Omaha! And, yes, he does wear tights!!! 🙂

Allison on July 8th, 2010 at 9:54 pm

Mercedes, you are clearly one very lucky woman. Thanks for stopping by – your comments have made my day 🙂

Kristin on July 8th, 2010 at 10:06 pm

This is great. Thanks for coming by to say hello, Mercedes. If I ever learn of anyone wishing to fly high on a trapeze, I’ll direct them to Paco (or Richie, as the case may be).

Paquito on July 8th, 2010 at 10:13 pm

Paco is my coach. Paco has shown me many things. Thankfully, no sunrises. I have worn those very tights myself. (and a mustache).

Allison on July 8th, 2010 at 11:10 pm

Paquito, I would very much like to see a photo of that.
I’ll be waiting….

Fiona on July 9th, 2010 at 12:13 am

Ha, I love this one of Richie. How many are there now? Paco needs his own facebook page : ) And yes, everyone should fly with Paco, he’s the best : )

Michelle on July 9th, 2010 at 3:33 pm

Yes, oh please send in some pictures.

Richie on July 10th, 2010 at 10:32 am

It is funny to see all these comment from this card, who knew.

Kristin on July 10th, 2010 at 1:06 pm

Hey, I really enjoyed the Sky Circus video with Mercedes on Richie’s site. You go, girl! Richie/Paco and all of you are obviously very skilled and talented. Fun to watch!

Allison on July 12th, 2010 at 6:41 pm

I cannot believe that Paco (Richie), himself, has graced my site with a comment. I feel so honored!

A new post dedicated to this discovery is being written at this moment.

My sister started sending me Paco Cards a few years ago. We have a thing for him. My favorite is “So, you will not go to Omaha with Paco? Paco can show you many things, But Paco will not beg.”

I just spent the morning creating a private facebook page for her, a complete Paco profile. Wish I could share it with you all but, like I said, It’s private. BTW, “Silence of the Clams” cracked me up big time!
